Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines - The Los Baños Police has launched a manhunt operation against the suspect of murder and possible rape of an. 8-yr old child.
After being gone since December 27, the 8-yr old child Marivic
Sapin was found dead last December 30. There seems to lunge in her right eye,
bruises on her face, cigarette burn on her genitals and signs of possible rape.
She had no clothes on and deliberately covered with grass when found at
Barangay San Antonio, Los Baños,
Laguna.
The suspect is known although not named yet as the manhunt operations
continues. The suspect was also charged of attempted rape of a 17-year-old
girl on Christmas Eve, according to P/Supt. Ricardo Dalmacia, Los Banos
Police Officer in an interview with GMA News.
Just last October in Los Baños, a
freshman UPLB student was also raped. She survived and was able to detail the
crime that helped in the arrest of the suspect who was a tricycle driver. In 2011,
another UPLB student Given Grace Cebanico was raped and killed by a tricycle
driver and security guard who were arrested in connection with the crime.
