Golden State Warriors Home Winning Streak Ends

The Warriors 54-Game home winning streak ended as the Boston Celtics defeated the defending champion and currently number 1 NBA team with a close 109-106 final score.

Stephen Curry finished the game with 29 points and 5 rebounds but also with 9 turnovers, 5 of which he committed in the 1st half of the game. On the other hand, Isaiah Thomas finished the game with 22 points and 6 assists including a clutch lay-up which gave the Celtics a 3 point lead with just 8.3 seconds remaining in the game.

The warriors had a chance to tie the game, but Steph misses the 3 point shot and the Celtics get the victory ending the Warriors home streak.

Another Game 7 Finish for the Beermen and the Aces

 

The PBA Philippine cup is set for another epic finish, as the San Miguel Beermen and Alaska Aces battle for Game 7 of the championship series, tomorrow, February 3, at the Mall of Asia Area. Tickets are almost sold-out as basketball fans relive the battle of last year’s Philippine cup championship which the Beermen won at the expense of the Aces.

So who do you think will win this time? Will the Aces have their revenge? Or the Beermen will make history as the first team in the PBA to win a championship after being down 0-3?
